Beryl’s management experience in both corporate and not-for-profit sector has given her a perspective beyond most coaching professionals.
Her leadership role as Country Manager (Thomson Reuters Beijing, China) and Regional Head honed her international perspective. Beryl set up and trained teams in Beijing and Singapore; project managed multiple global integration projects and off-shoring projects in TR Asia. She has also trained global teams such as Global Data Source Owners community and Bangalore. These roles have given her depth and breadth of understanding organisational systems, and leading change. Her experience includes regional, operations management, market data, strategic planning, change management and stakeholder management; with 15 years in financial database management.
Beryl transited into the non-profit sector in 2011 with roles such as: Executive Director of Yong-en Care Centre; Community Eldercare Cluster Director of Methodist Welfare Services; giving her a balanced view and agile mindset with the ability to navigate the changing socio-economic landscape.

The Journey to Coaching
My journey into coaching began when I transitioned from the corporate world to the not-for-profit sector. I was searching for effective methods to scale and build capacity of the organization. Gallup CliftonStrengths tool was introduced to me, and I was immediately impressed by its potential. This tool has the power to yield exponential results for organizations by focusing on individual strengths. Blended with ICF coaching approach, the tool works magic in coaching conversations.
My passion for coaching stems from the desire to help others thrive and reach their full potential. ICF coaching with CliftonStrengths can be leveraged in various ways to enhance effectiveness, foster thriving environments, and create greater synergy within teams. By focusing on strengths, the outcomes are both enhanced employee engagement and happier employees. When leaders and teams excel, entire organization benefits.
